SUBJECT: August Sales Meeting—Proposed Agenda


The August sales meeting will be the last time the sales department gets together before the fall season. I would like to use it as a time to look back on our accomplishments this year and look forward as to how we can improve our total sales for the remainder of the year.

The following is the proposed agenda for the August sales meeting:

•    Gene Mulligan reviews July sales figure, assesses July sales force performance, and updates progress on our yearly goals.
•    Gene Mulligan presents sales goals for August.
•    Tamara Jackson awards cellular phone to the sales leader .
•    Andy Wilson demonstrates Super Coolant slated for release in September.
•    Sarah Lindstrom discusses her strategies for establishing contacts in traditionally under-served markets.
•    Jennifer Friedman explains the importance of follow-up calls and letters.

Feel free to make additions or revisions before I distribute the final agenda to meeting participants next Thursday.

SUBJECT: Annual Sales Figures


In preparation for the southeastern division annual sales meeting, I would like the annual sales figures for our region. Please include the numbers for 19— total sales revenue for the division and for each sales representative, as well as revenues for each product line.

Please let me know if a January 30 deadline is a problem. I would like to have at least a few weeks to assess the numbers so we can adjust our goals for this year.
